@LogieYogi
Come flow with me!
The physical practice of yoga is one of connection- the breath, the mind, & the body all come together in both movement and in stillness.
It's a practice for every BODY.
Yoga is a journey taken inward, through the external expression of the poses. However, this journey can be taken without even stepping on the mat.
The physical practice (asana) has many benefits:
feeling/ looking younger
pain relief
strengthening of muscles
increase in range of motion/ mobility
increase in flexibilty
finding balance and coordination
relaxation
release of toxins through sweat
finding playfulness and fun!
just to name a few.
Yoga is a great cross training tool, is a beneficial add on to any regular workout routine, and is great as a stand alone practice.
But please know, that there is so much more to yoga than just the poses on the mat. Yoga is a process of self discovery and study.
Yoga is not a work out.. it's a work in.
The essentials:
a water bottle
a yoga mat (most places rent these if you don't have your own!)
yoga props (again, you can find these at a studio to use!)
YOURSELF!
What do I wear?
For an unheated class, wear comfortable clothes that move with you. For a heated class, you'll want to stick with yoga pants or shorts, and a tank top! Don't worry about shoes and socks- we practice barefoot. For a SUP Yoga class, feel free to wear your bathing suit OR wear regular yoga clothes- just bring a towel and some dry duds in case you end up taking a dip!
At @LogieYogi, my mission is to cultivate a joyful space where individuals can explore their physical and mental potential through yoga. I blend playful exploration with deep, consistent practice, aiming to connect, align, and inspire each person just as they are, while guiding them toward their best selves. Rooted in compassion and enriched by diverse experiences, I offer a unique approach to yoga that embraces both strength and fun, creating a vibrant community dedicated to living fully and abundantly.
Logan began yoga as a way back into fitness after recovering from a shoulder injury that ended her collegiate swimming career. And she fell in love with it!
Her teaching style is based in the vinyasa practice, but branches out to include restorative, children's yoga, power yoga, and SUP Yoga.
Logan loves to move and groove while practicing and teaching, isn't afraid to be silly, and behind that smile- a mouth to rival the most seasoned sailor's. Buyer beware.
Check out these meditations and others on my YouTube Channel, or book a meditation session with me!
At this time I just have meditation sessions posted, but might add pre-recorded flow classes at a later date.
